Printing blankets are produced in large rolls ranging up to 60 yards in length and 84" in width. The heavy weight of the blanket material hinders producing the material in larger rolls. Once the material is layered, heated, melted and cured according to specification it is rolled up into master rolls and sold to master converters.

Converters will mount, cut, punch and bar material to press specifications. There are numerous manufacturers worldwide producing blankets. Each manufacturer offers many different blanket types, each having its own specially designed formula to meet demanding press needs.
