Autotype Polyester Plates

The newest technology in duplicator printing.

Autotype plates
Autotype plates are 4.4 mil in gauge. They are run through a laser printer where the image is set on the coated side of the plate. No chemistry is required in this process, which is easy to manage and cost efficient. Once the image is fixed, the plate is punched and mounted on the press. The plate at this point may run up to 5,000 impressions. The plates can be bought in any size up to 13” in width. They can actually be bought wider than that but in general, laser printers are no wider than 13”. As far as length is concerned, they can be as long as you wish them to be because we can custom cut them to your needs.

Silico Anti-Marking-System

Silico is a glass bead technology that has proven to be extremely effective in reducing ink markings on printed matter.

Silico offers you the latest technology in glass beaded transfer sheets. The beads sit tightly together on polyester or paper sheets to reduce friction. Less friction means less markings. Consequently print jobs will look nicer and customer satisfaction will be greater.
